Greetings on behalf of the Elbow Lutheran Bible Camp Board. ELBC operates on a non-profit charitable basis. Five Christian churches, numerous members and volunteers support the camp. Over the past 65 years the camp property and facilities have been developed by the voluntary gifts and labours of the churches, Christian friends and area businesses. Our organization runs a seasonal Bible camp located four miles south of Elbow on Highway 19.
ELBC is minutes away from beautiful Lake Diefenbaker and can provide a wonderful experience away from daily distractions. We are always pleased to have the opportunity to serve others through the unique experiences of our site and facilities. Whether it’s a retreat for staff training, a getaway for your organization, a men’s, ladies or youth retreat for your church, or family reunion, we invite all groups to experience ELBC. Our camp has the following facilities:
- full size kitchen that can provide meals for 300 persons at a time
- chapel with basic sound equipment
- multiple bathrooms (male and female) with complete shower facilities for overnight stays (three bathroom buildings)
- dorms (male and female)
- camping sites (some sites are powered)
- very large tepee where campfires can occur
- sports grounds (baseball, beach volleyball, horseshoes and concrete basketball court)
- children’s play equipment (children from 1-12 with a sandbox for very young children)
